The Art Institute of Chicago is committed to collecting and exhibiting the most dynamic new work by emerging artists. On the Scene: Jason Lazarus, Wolfgang Plöger, Zoe Strauss is the third in a series of exhibitions presented by the Department of Photography, each of which explores the diverse range of art being produced today. This show brings together the work of Lazarus (born 1975), Plöger (born 1972), and Strauss (born 1970), including some of the department’s recent acquisitions.
