This exhibition of photographic based work from 14 CCAD students in Shannon Benine’s Digital Imaging class explores and examines the relationship between memory and photography.

Memory is an enigma, inconceivable in its entirety. It is a connection to our past in the most literal sense – a moment or years frozen in time. Our memories stand as a vital part of our being; it collectively forms who we are today and who we will remain to be in the future. It is quantitative and qualitative, non-material and non-physical. For us, memory is photographs. More so, the photograph is the vessel of memory. As photographers, we are explorers of memory – trekking the journey across time, space and sense.
